Barcelona strike duo Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez plot Roma's downfall as Ernesto Valverde's side train on eve of Champions League last-eight clash
Lionel Messi is set to return to Ernesto Valverde's Barcelona starting XI when Roma visit the Nou Camp for Wednesday's Champions League quarter-final first leg.
After
missing both of Argentina's matches during last month's international
break, Messi only featured as a substitute at Sevilla on Saturday night
when he came off the bench to score a late equaliser which preserved
Barca's unbeaten record in La Liga.
But Messi should start up front alongside Luis Suarez
against Roma. And the pair appeared to be plotting something as they
were pictured in conversation during a training session at
Barca's Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper base on Tuesday.

Iniesta, Jordi Alba and Sergio Busquets were also seen chatting during a
light session, which saw coach Valverde gather the whole group together
for a team-talk.
Busquets broke his
foot as Barca beat Chelsea on March 14 and has not played since, but he
is expected to be passed fit and could start in midfield
alongside Iniesta.
La Liga leaders Barcelona will start the two-legged tie as heavy favourites to beat Roma, who are currently third in Serie A.
